Human rights & labour standards

Nymo respects human rights and labour standards based on international law.

We comply with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Nymo fully support the principles in the Modern Slavery Act 2015 towards slavery and human trafficking. We also support the principles of the UN Global Compact. We respect and recognize the International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention abolition of child labour and minimum age for child labour.

In our work with the Transparency Act and the due diligence assessment process, we utilize Factlines’ digital solution and services. Factlines is a Norwegian-owned, independent company specializing in monitoring ethical, social, and environmental standards in supply chains. Factlines provides advice, develops, and produces services with digital support to ensure efficient and verifiable information directly from suppliers and subcontractors.

Moving industry forward

Offshore Hydrogen Storage

Nymo is addressing the offshore hydrogen segment as a project partner in the Hardanger Subsea Hydrogen Storage Project, which has received a grant from the Green Platform scheme.

Floating Wind

Ocean Ventus is established to develop and commercialize its proprietary low-cost solution for floating wind turbines, addressing the need for environmentally friendly power generation on an industrial scale. Ocean Ventus, established in 2022, is majority owned by Nymo.
